On February 26, goormIDE’s pricing plans were updated. We’re here to answer some of the most frequently asked questions.

Q. Why did the pricing change?
The previous plan required payment for specs and resources while they were not in use. Thus for your convenience, we wanted to offer affordable plans that let you buy and use as much as you need.

Q. What’s the benefits of the new plan?
You can purchase as much as you need. You can customize different container specs and resources to meet your needs.

Q. Do I have to switch to a new plan?
You can use containers using free monthly credits without having to pay for membership or credits. However, if you want to use containers with the same specifications as before, you will need to pay for a membership and credits. (Free credits do not carry over.)

Q. What happens to my existing plan?
If you were on a paid plan, your subscription will automatically end on your next billing date. Please subscribe to a membership and purchase credits when your subscription expires. If you were on the free plan, your container will be suspended as soon as all of your free credits are used up.

지난 2월 26일 구름IDE의 새로운 가격 정책이 공개 됐습니다. 왜 개편했는지, 무엇이 좋아졌는지, 이용하려면 어떻게 해야 하는지 등 그동안 자주 물어보셨던 질문에 대해 답변해 드릴게요.

Q. 가격 정책, 왜 바뀌었나요?
기존의 플랜형 구독제는 사용하지 않은 기간에도 사용하지 않은 스펙과 리소스에 대한 비용을 지불해야 한다는 불편함이 있었습니다. 필요한 만큼 구매하여 사용하는 합리적인 가격 체계를 제공하고자 합니다.

Q. 가격 정책, 무엇이 좋아졌나요?
이제부터는 필요한 만큼 구매하여 사용할 수 있습니다. 필요에 따라 다양한 컨테이너 스펙과 리소스를 커스텀하여 이용할 수 있습니다.

Q. 새로운 가격 정책으로 꼭 변경해야 하나요?
멤버십이나 크레딧을 결제하지 않고도 매월 무료로 지급되는 크레딧을 사용해 구름IDE 컨테이너를 이용할 수 있습니다. 무료 크레딧은 이월이 불가하여, 만약 이전과 동일한 사양의 컨테이너 이용을 원하신다면 멤버십 구독과 크레딧 결제를 추천해 드립니다.

Q. 기존에 이용 중이던 구독형 플랜은 어떻게 되나요?
유료 플랜을 이용하고 계셨다면 다음 결제일에 구독이 자동으로 종료되며, 무료 플랜을 이용하고 계셨다면 지급된 무료 크레딧이 모두 소진될 시 컨테이너가 즉시 정지됩니다. 따라서 구독 종료 및 무료 크레딧 소진 이후의 원활한 서비스 사용을 위해 멤버십 구독과 크레딧 구매를 추천해 드립니다.
